The film "54 Hours - The Gladbeck Hostage Crisis" (Gladbeck), broadcast by BBC Four last year, has been nominated for the most important British television award in the category "International". Nominees are, next to producer Regina Ziegler, also script author Holger Karsten Schmidt as well as Kilian Riedhof, director and script editing. Regina Ziegler: "I'm so very thankful and delighted that our two-part series, following the incredible success it had in Germany, has now also been so well received on an international level, thanks to the reliable cooperation with Beta Film. The broadcast by BBC with the overwhelming comments showed just that."
"54 Hours - The Gladbeck Hostage Crisis" has only recently been nominated, among others, for the German Television Award as well as won the Seoul International Drama Award.
